We save lives by reimagining how helmet safety functions. Closca's folding helmets can only be folded when there's no interior volume inside. Meaning they never fold in the event of an accident when wearing them.
The helmet consists of 3 polycarbonate pieces and EPS foam that absorb impacts, joined together by 4 engineered pieces with 2 stable positions: folded and unfolded. Once the helmet has interior volume, it remains fixed to protect your head in case of impact, just like a conventional helmet.

I'm very pleased, the helmet is stylish, comfortable and super practical for carrying around after using it. I was a bit worried after I read some reviews about bad build quality, I believe those were overstated and might be referring to older versions: maybe the internal elements are not the most exceptional components in terms of quality, but they are absolutely ok.
