Spearhead of innovation at John Kerry’s visit

John Kerry, current United States Secretary of State, has recently visited Spain during this week. After his appointment with the Prime Minister Mariano Rajoy, and his interview with King Felipe VI, the American politician attended the Campus Google of Madrid in order to meet some of the most creative and promising entrepreneurs on the spanish scene. Carlos Ferrando, Founder of Closca Design, was among them.

During a conversation with the US Secretary of State, Carlos Ferrando showed him our Closca Fuga foldable helmet and explained some future projects of the company. Kerry considered our helmet positively 'surprising' and dedicated us kind words of support to continue developing our products and ideas. "You will create trend", he sentenced. This statement still gets more value to us considering that John Kerry is a passionate for cycling.

Our participation at the Campus Google in Madrid has confirmed us as one of the leading companies in innovation and entrepreneurship. This space offered by Google hosted over 1,800 enterprisers to provide advice, training and various tools with the goal of developing new  technological projects, building relationships and sharing experiences.

Closca Design attended this event invited by the international accelerator Endeavor, which is leading the high-impact entrepreneurship movement around the world through a rigorous, multi-step selection process. Other Spanish companies whose participation has been emphasized during this meeting are Xtraice, Vortex Bladeless, Yamimoto, Exploded View, Bloostar, Cartodb, Fluzo and Inbloon.
