Closca's folding helmets can only be folded when there's no interior volume inside. Meaning they never fold in the event of an accident when wearing them.

The helmet consists of 3 polycarbonate pieces and EPS foam that absorb impacts, joined together by 4 engineered pieces with 2 stable positions: folded and unfolded. Once the helmet has interior volume, it remains fixed to protect your head in case of impact, just like a conventional helmet.
