Nieuwsgierigheid is een essentiële houding, iets wat we allemaal in ons dragen. In deze limited edition laat ons designteam zich inspireren door de woorden van Stephen Hawking — “Kijk omhoog naar de sterren en niet naar je voeten” — om een nieuwe versie van de Helmet Loop tot leven te brengen.
Een fietshelm die niet alleen beschermt en je stijl versterkt, maar ook zijn blik richt op het sterrenbeeld dat de mensheid al millennia lang heeft geleid. Een nieuwe manier om te laten zien dat het onze rol is om jouw beweging te beschermen, zonder het design en de boodschap erachter uit het oog te verliezen.
Safety. How it works.
We save lives by reimagining how helmet safety functions. Closca's folding helmets can only be folded when there's no interior volume inside. Meaning they never fold in the event of an accident when wearing them.
The helmet consists of 3 polycarbonate pieces and EPS foam that absorb impacts, joined together by 4 engineered pieces with 2 stable positions: folded and unfolded. Once the helmet has interior volume, it remains fixed to protect your head in case of impact, just like a conventional helmet.

Our initial venture beyond the expected
We challenged ourselves to step outside the mainstream, while keeping our minimalism and understated tones. We explored new colours that still blend naturally with the style — and the bicycles — of our community.
