Closca, the Spanish-designed bicycle helmet that triumphs in Silicon Valley (EL PAIS)

Made in Valencia, but without local vocation. Fuga is a helmet whose units are quickly sold out at the renovated MOMA in San Francisco. It is also sold at the New York MOMA and in some design stores in Bogota. Closca is a company born at the University of Valencia that wants to unite design with technology in smart devices. Fuga is its first helmet for urban cyclists.

At first glance it has a great advantage, it folds. The concentric ring mechanism makes it very easy to carry around. Secondly, it looks nice and can be decorated with fleece covers that give it a nicer touch. Lastly, because it has an NFC chip, the same chip used for mobile payment, which can be used to provide many more functionalities.
